SYNOPSIS
Will Power is an educational book for children who have reached the age when they can think and reason for themselves and make up their own minds about what choices to make, (Key Stage 2). It introduces them to concepts such as free will, willpower, conscience, and self-esteem and gently explains how these can be developed. By introducing the fun character of Will Power who is someone whom they can emulate like other superheroes, children are encouraged to consider the consequences of their choices, work out the best decisions for themselves, and use their willpower in a sensible way. The book is designed to be a cross-cultural resource and is for all children including any who may have been disadvantaged in their early development.
